Locked in, enrolled and paid for

Slightly more exciting than the previous post, I have enrolled for the following:

1) Martinborough Charity Fun Ride, 48 km, Individual on 29 October - Entrant 71
2) Tour de Whitemans, 6 November 33km, Individual
3) Tour of the Wairarapa, 50 km, Individual, 13 November, R 63494

I've decided to do the "short distance" for all races.  It's about doing the distances as fast as I can :-) and getting used to riding with others - bearing in mind there will be some riders I only see briefly.  Also, with the Whitemans, there may be a slight problem getting to that event, so if I ride up from Lower Hutt, that will be extra distance in itself.  Anyway, will worry about "transport logistics" closer to the time.

There's a Waikanae gig too on the 9 Oct - but I think I'll restrict transport logistics to the rides I've enrolled for.

Clearly, if you want to ride your bike, you need a car :-)
