I'm one of those people who always arrives at the railway station 5-10 minutes before the train goes, at meetings on time, at class 5-10 minutes before it commences, and if a party starts at 8 - I'll try and arrive late but still be there early...
Its one of my things: punctuality. Today I was running late for class; so sprinted from Pipitea to The Terrace in 5 minutes. That is from 12. 25 to 12.30. It may not have looked like a sprint to the casual observer, but it was. I ususally am seated at 12.25. Anyway, I proved I can do it. But I don't like being "late", so I'd prefer not to. Serves as quite an effective warm up though.
Big day tomorrow: I'm taking my bike into "town" to spend some time with the bike boys having the pedals adjusted. I was going to wait longer. But decided I can't wait. Oh, that and the fact I have a back puncture. It will be quicker and more efficient time wise for the boys to do it - although of course wont upskill me in this necessary area.
This will also necessitate buying another pair of bike shoes - this time with Look cleats.
