Paper run

I was a bit slow heading off today for my Sunday ride.  So it only ended up being a 10km ride to Gladstone and back, with the sucessful mission of getting the Sunday paper on the way home.  Not technically then really a training ride.  That puts me 60km behind todays projected target re the overall 1000km target by Taupo.

I only went out about 4.30.  There were too many Utes and cars in a hurry to get to places.  It didn't actually feel that safe traffic wise.

As for the shoes and cleats.  They felt good.  I have to admit in a moment of overconfidence I fell into the house in the driveway when I was about to head off.  Probably good to have that little reminder.
The shoes though definitely feel good when riding (for some reason it seems much smoother than RPM, but maybe that's just becuas I've had the practice there) and once I do get back to the "hill climbs", I'm sure as Mario advised me, I'll feel the "power" of riding!
