I'm not really a huge Scooter fan, but there are quite a few RPM Scooter tracks. Anyway, I've been thinking a lot about the nice thing. And I've concluded as the song says - and this is a revised take on an old song "its nice to be important, but its important to be nice" :-)

Today, my pimp finally delivered, and I have a months work back at the workplace I enjoyed for the 3 months up until 30 June. This is good news as my current contract finishes tomorrow - and tomorrow is going to be a very busy day!
A month is a month. It will be good to be back working with the team. They are a bunch of "nice" people, competent and committed to what they do. They a good team who awhi each other and work from a strengths basis. That's pretty much true of my current team. So, yeah, its ok to be nice!!
I live with uncertainty, but it feels good to be asked back. I know its going to be good to be back in that team environment as my Taupo training intensifies. It will provide a good supportive positive environment, while at the same time contributing to my "longer term game plan" - which really only comprises keeping continuity in work, and paying my mortgage, and being able to implement longer term goals like travel and a new car. Nothing extravagant.
Had lunch with some former cowos today at the Colonial. I like the Colonial better than Gotham City! Its basic, cheap and real. The "probos" had a proper fry up - I have to say the eggs and chips looked good! I refrained though and had egg sandwiches. What I liked most is though having a good laugh about "stuff"...
