With daylight saving now in place it means when the train leaves the Rimutaka tunnel there is light on the other side.
From about the tunnel to Greytown on the train I think about how awesome it would be to ride home from Featherston at dusk - if there weren't the logistics of "work clothes" and if I was "superwoman". I'm not sure why riding at dusk seems to currently hold more attraction than other times. It's a nice reflective time of day and the traffic is quiet. Same as dawn really. As it gets lighter at night, I hope to build in dusk rides to the training programme.
I had lunch with KM. She confirmed she and CL will be in Kuritau/Taupo with their boys. It's good to know that and be reminded I have people who provide unconditional support. Plus, it will make for a v. good celebration afterwards :-)
In the absence of having much else to say today, here's another one of my favourite songs. Not a RPM one. However, I have observed, when I'm walking past her class on a Friday, that the Body Balance Lady often plays it:

The funny thing (for me) is I never really liked U2 in the 80s, although they were the first band I ever saw live - at Athletic Park (just to keep the rugby references for the week in). But now I do!
