I'm now the proud owner of a Polar CS 200 cad. I purchased it from Capital Cycles. A variation form my preferred supplier. The man who sold it to me said if I had any problems installing it, to take my bike in. Good offer, but its a bit of a mission taking my bike into Wellington, re the requirement to take it on the train.
So right now, there are expensive plastic pieces in plastic envelopes sitting on the table. And INSTRUCTIONS. I'm only going to assemble the CS 200 if I follow instructions. Eeek. As you know, I don't like instructions. This is where having a gifted cat is not particularly helpful.
I might just pack it up in Camelback and ride it over to Martinborough, and ask nicely if Mr Strawhouse can do the puzzle. Maybe.
Good workout today at rpm. Friday instructor is a legend in terms of reading my musical tastes!
Other stuff happened today. Today I decided that I need to create a new chapter in my life. I'm not sure what the chapter will contain. Not at all. Right now it's a chapter of white pages waiting for the pages to be filled with text. Of course, that's what the journey is all about. But today I reminded myself of that, and decided I needed to press the refresh button on my life. On my goals, aspirations, dreams, give attention to matters of the heart (not just the purchase of a heart monitor although it is a start!), who I want to hang out with, and who I do not, and the way I want to live, to live well.
I'm not sure why today was the day I decided to revisit this stuff.
Maybe, because it's six weeks to Taupo. This is where the training intensifies. This is where it all kicks in. This is where its going to start to get good ;-)
Totally expect this track to turn up on a rpm tracklist one day:
